Supersport have confirmed that they shall resume broadcasting live matched involving Gor Mahia. The rights holders of the Kenya Premier League had stopped broadcasting matches involving Gor Mahia following incidences of violence involving Gor Mahia fans.
Consequently the Kenyan derby involving Gor Mahia and AFC Leopard scheduled for the 24th day of July 2011 at the Nyayo Stadium shall be covered live by Supersport. In a press conference held on Wednesday, Multichoice Kenya’s General Manager Mr. Stephen Isaboke confirmed this position saying that they were satisfied that Gor Mahia had put in place several measures to stop crowd violence.
